The RoXdon DUB-ECHO Analogue Delay is a 1970's sounding echo unit utilizing BBD (Bucket-Brigade Device) discrete-time analogue delay line technology, providing up to 600ms of delay. More reliable than tape delays, this vintage effect quickly became a classic. The unit has controls for Input Level, Mix, Delay, Repeat and Output Level. The DUB-ECHO also features a Modulation section for Tape Echo emulation with Speed and Depth controls. The RoXdon DUB-ECHO has been designed to be used 'Hands On' by musicians and music producers, to interface with preamps, mixers and other units operating at line level.

Developed by Philips Research Laboratories, the BBD shuttles a stored analogue signal through a consecutive series of capacitors.
Signals passed through the BBD circuit were subject to misidentification of the signal frequency, introducing distortion or error (aliasing) which gave the effect its distinct sound character sought by many musicians.

The RoXdon DUB-ECHO features an industrial style die cast zinc alloy metal enclosure with large vintage RCA style knobs, dials, on/off switch and polished chrome handles. On the rear of the box there is a 9 volt DC socket for connection of the external power adapter (supplied) and 1/4" line input and output jack sockets for connection to a sound mixer or other line level source.
